WestWind Energy has received planning approval for the Normanville Energy Park. The park will consist of a 122 MW wind power facility and will feature up to 17 wind turbines. The project is located in Victoria’s North West Renewable Energy Zone, Australia. The project will generate enough electricity to power around 90,000 Victorian homes. Furthermore, project construction is expected to attract approximately $350 million in investment.
In May 2026, WestWind Energy’s Warracknabeal Energy Park received approval from the Victorian government after its successful environmental impacts assessment. The project will feature up to 219 wind turbines, involving approximately $5 billion in investment. Once operational, the project could supply 12.5 per cent of Victoria’s electricity demand, power around 1.2 million homes and reduce carbon emissions by more than 4.2 million tonnes annually.
In March 2026, WestWind Energy’s Lake Victoria wind farm was selected to progress under the NSW investment delivery authority. The project forms a part of the selected 16 renewable energy projects under the authority, representing $34 billion in potential investment. The project will feature up to 200 wind turbines located near Wentworth, NSW. The project will also generate enough electricity to power approximately 700,000 to 900,000 homes annually.
