Adani Green Energy commissions 150 MW solar project in Gujarat

Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commissioned a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. With this commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,985.8 MW and total operational battery energy storage system capacity has reached 3,366 MWh. 

Earlier in May 2026, AGEL commissioned a cumulative capacity of 3.37 GWh battery energy storage system at Khavda, Gujarat. The deployment included 1.37 GWh of BESS capacity commissioned in March 2026.

Furthermore, in April 2026, AGEL, through its various step-down subsidiaries, operationalised a total of 951 MW of renewable projects across Baiya, Rajasthan and Khavda, Gujarat. The commissioned capacities include 251 MW at Baiya and 700 MW at Khavda.
