Vikran Engineering Limited has secured a work order from NOPL Solar Projects Private Limited for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a cumulative 969 MW AC solar power project across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The order will be executed on a turnkey EPC basis and also includes the supply of solar photovoltaic modules and inverters.
Furthermore, the contract is valued at approximately Rs 35.17 billion. The order is to be executed in 12 months.
Earlier, in April 2026, Vikran Engineering Limited signed a share purchase agreement to acquire a 49 per cent stake in NOPL Solar Projects Private Limited for approximately Rs 49 million.
In October 2025, Vikran Engineering Limited secured a letter of award from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne for the EPC of a 100 MWac grid-connected solar power project in Maharashtra.
