Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions (CleanMax) and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) have entered into a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement for producing and delivering renewable energy from a 45.9 MW solar-wind captive power project through a special purpose vehicle named Clean Max BIAL Renewable Energy Private Limited. CleanMax owns and operates a captive power project within the solar-wind farm that is situated in Jagaluru, Karnataka. The project comprises 36 MWp of solar power and 9.9 MW of wind power plants.

The plan is to obtain around 90 million kWh of energy annually from the captive renewable energy power plant. The project aims to deliver approximately 58.3 million units of solar power and 31 million units of wind power each year, utilising the existing grid infrastructure. The endeavor is set to produce around 90 GWh of clean energy each year, resulting in a reduction of 64.2 million kilograms of carbon emissions. This is comparable to planting approximately 1.1 million trees annually. The Jagaluru wind-solar farm in Karnataka, boasting a total capacity of 290 MW, plays a pivotal role in minimising carbon emissions and is anticipated to reduce approximately 5,488,000 tonnes of carbon equivalent.

In July 2023, CleanMax Solar announced the commissioning of a 400 MW wind-solar hybrid facility for its commercial and industrial clients in Gujarat.

In June 2023, Michelin Group, the French tyre company, inked a power purchase agreement with CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Private Limited to increase its renewable energy sources at its site.
