ATUM Solar Roof & ATUM Charge Solar Powered EV Charging Stations

ATUM,the world’s first unified solar roof, generates electricity and is a completely integrated, seamless solar roof made with poly or mono-crystalline solar cells and cement boards – a highly durable roofing material making it the world’s first solar panel which can be directly used as a roof.
In September 2020, Visaka Industries Limited was granted a 20-year patent for its ATUM Solar Roof. The patent was granted for the invention titled “Eco-Friendly Energy Generating Roof.” ATUM secured the reputable UL Certification as per International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. The South Africa Patent Office also granted a patent to ATUM in March 2021.  
ATUM has also been certified by the Campbell Corporation, to take a uniform load of 780 lbs per sqft, a snow load of 2200 lbs, and the jointing mechanism is a private leak proof system as per American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) standards. It is a roof which is class A fire rated and designed to take wind speeds of over 150kmph making it hurricane proof. ATUM uses GreenPro Certified material which makes it a highly sustainable, reliable, and safe solar roof.
ATUM is manufactured in Miryalaguda, Telangana, India.

ATUM Charge is a self-sustaining solar powered Electric Vehicle charging station which will be set up across India, and elsewhere in the world, to support the movement to promote the use of electric vehicles.Visaka Industries Limited believes that ATUM Solar Roof is the right product as it can generate 40% more clean power in the same given space as compared to any other solar solution. It is also to be noted that ATUM Solar Roof, with its clean and green power, will allow the entire electric vehicle charging proposition to move to 100% solar whereas, currently, most EV charging stations use electricity produced by thermal power generation completely defeating the purpose of moving to environment-friendly power. ATUMCharge is also looking at partnering with other electric charging station providers who are either in the market or are expected to come in the near future.
ATUMCharge stations are not only powered by ATUM, the world’s first integrated solar roof, but they are also fabricated using Vnext boards, thereby generating green energy and promoting green commute in the real sense of the word.
Visaka Industries Limited, in the first phase, is setting up 50 ATUMCharge EV Charging stations across major metros and Tier-2 cities. These charging stations are designed so that they can be used by all EVs including electric cars, electric bikes and electric scooters.
