Trina Storage has joined forces with FlexGen Power Systems to deliver a 371 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Houston, Texas, US. The project features Trina Storage’s advanced Elementa 2 solution.
Furthermore, the project was developed by SMT Energy. FlexGen will provide system integration services and implement its HybridOS energy management software, streamlining system management and boosting operational efficiency.
In February 2024, Trina Storage secured a deal to provide BESS for four UK sites operated by Low Carbon. The systems will deliver approximately 190 MWh of total storage capacity, enhancing arbitrage and ancillary services capabilities.
