The Odisha government has granted in-principle approval to seven renewable energy projects with a cumulative investment of Rs 11.91 billion, aimed at enhancing the state’s sustainable energy infrastructure.
The projects were cleared during the 10th single window committee meeting held under the Odisha renewable energy policy, 2022. The approved initiatives include two wind power projects of 95.7 MW, four ground-based solar projects totaling 53.97 MW, and Odisha’s first battery storage project with a capacity of 0.6 MWh.
