Reportedly, the Telangana government is preparing a comprehensive 50-year plan for power generation, with a target of achieving 20,000 MW of green energy capacity by 2029-30.

As part of the new administration’s long-term energy vision, the initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of renewable sources to meet future demand sustainably.  The state’s green energy expansion is expected to contribute significantly to national renewable energy goals while enhancing energy security and resilience in Telangana.
