Sermatec Secures 430 MWh Energy Storage Project in Bulgaria

Sermatec has secured a 430 MWh energy storage project in Bulgaria. Sermatec will deliver a full-lifecycle energy storage solution, with the system designed to charge during off-peak hours using low-cost electricity and discharge during peak hours, benefiting from time-of-use pricing. 

The project is expected to be delivered by December 2026. Grid connection and operation are expected by March 2026. Furthermore, Sermatec will provide technological support and ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.
