North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the long-term supply of 164.4 MW from its Assam Gas Based Power Station.
The capacity represents Assam’s surrendered share of power from the station. The agreement was signed following a directive from the Ministry of Power.
