Singapore and the Philippines have agreed to explore opportunities for cross-border electricity interconnections and strengthen cooperation in nuclear energy.
The proposed interconnections are expected to facilitate cross-border electricity trade and enable better utilisation of complementary energy resources. The agreements also provide for cooperation in advanced nuclear technologies and workforce development.
