The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has launched the Wind Turbine Materials and Resources Utility Tracker (WT-MARUT) portal, India’s first dedicated platform for wind turbine supply chain management.
The portal has been developed with support from the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association to strengthen the domestic wind manufacturing ecosystem. It is intended to improve visibility into component sourcing and support compliance with domestic sourcing requirements under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers framework. The portal will also facilitate supplier discovery and qualification, promote collaboration across the supply chain, and enhance export readiness.
