New Delhi : Joint Solar is expanding its manufacturing of TOPCon and higher-efficiency solar modules. In view of the growing demand for advanced solar technologies from residential, commercial and industrial segments, the company has increased its focus on manufacturing expansion and technology upgradation.
According to Joint Solar, changing customer preferences and growing interest in long-term performance are influencing manufacturing priorities across the industry.
Backed by more than two decades in business, Joint Solar has established a 1.3 GW manufacturing base and executed over five lakh installations pan-India. Joint Solar manufactures solar panels across poly, mono and TOPCon technologies and operates two manufacturing plants, including a major facility at Pilakhua near Hapur.
Higher-efficiency solar modules are now being used more widely in residential, commercial and industrial projects. Long-term output and reliability are also becoming key factors in project planning. In line with this demand, Joint Solar has set a target to produce more than 5,000 higher-efficiency modules daily as part of its manufacturing expansion plans.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Vinod Sharma, Director, Joint Solar said, “Customer expectations in the solar market have changed Customer expectations in the solar market have changed significantly with time. Earlier, the conversation was largely around pricing, but now people are also looking at long-term performance and consistency. This is one of the reasons why higher-efficiency technologies such as TOPCon are gaining attention.”
He added that the company has been continuously upgrading its manufacturing and product range in line with changing market requirements. “We have been expanding step by step over the years and continue to invest in technology upgradation and product development. Our effort is to supply dependable products that can perform consistently in different conditions,” he said.
Joint Solar manufactures solar panels for different market requirements and continues to work on technology upgradation, manufacturing expansion and product development in line with changing demand in the sector.
Joint Solar’s manufacturing operations are supported by in-house research and development efforts aimed at improving product efficiency and aligning with changing technology trends in the solar sector.
The company also noted that demand is gradually expanding beyond metro cities, with increased enquiries coming from smaller towns and emerging markets where awareness around solar solutions has improved over time.

Developers and customers are increasingly looking at improved output and long-term performance, leading to rising interest in TOPCon modules and other advanced technologies.
