Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions (Clean Max) and Apple have forged collaboration to advance renewable energy initiatives in India, signifying a major advancement in the country’s clean energy sector. Clean Max has successfully deployed 14.4 MW of rooftop solar panels across six industrial sites in India as part of the collaboration. These installations are projected to reduce approximately 207,000 tonnes of carbon emissions over their operational lifespan.

By facilitating crucial access to renewable energy financing, the partnership is empowering industries to shift towards renewable energy sources and streamline their energy costs. The endeavor seeks to expedite the advancement of renewable energy projects throughout the nation. The partnership is based on an innovative business model, in which the environmental advantages generated by the funded projects will aid Apple in tackling the emissions linked to its corporate activities in India.

In February 2024, CleanMax and Bangalore International Airport Limited entered into a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement for producing and delivering renewable energy from a 45.9 MW solar-wind captive power project through a special purpose vehicle named Clean Max BIAL Renewable Energy Private Limited.
