The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has committed $100 million to support Australia’s mid-scale clean energy transition. The investment will be deployed in partnership with Infradebt under the Distribution Connected Accelerator Program (DCAP). The program aims to finance the development of up to 16 hybrid solar, battery energy storage, and battery retrofit projects.

Moreover, DCAP will focus primarily on distribution-connected renewable energy projects of up to 5 MW, while retaining the flexibility to support larger projects. The initiative is designed to prepare a pipeline of projects for construction commencing in 2027, with Infradebt selecting project proponents through a competitive process. The commitment builds on CEFC’s previous $150 million investment in Infradebt.
