Bondada Engineering Limited has received a notification of award (NoA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package for a 250 MW solar photovoltaic project with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh.
The order is valued at Rs 13.38 billion. The project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the receipt of the NoA. With this contract, Bondada Engineering’s solar EPC order book has expanded to about 5.5 GWp, while its BESS order book has increased to around 1.1 GWh.
