New Delhi : REnergy Dynamics Infraworks has received the EPC Contractor Award in the Compressed Biogas (CBG) sector at the 6th India Green Energy Awards (IGEA) 2026, organised by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE). The recognition acknowledges the company’s contribution to the development of India’s compressed biogas infrastructure.
The award was presented by Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy and Power, Government of India, who attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.
Compressed biogas is gaining importance in India’s renewable energy landscape as the country explores alternative fuels, improved waste utilisation and pathways to diversify its energy mix. Produced by processing organic waste and biomass, CBG offers the potential to convert agricultural residues and other biodegradable feedstocks into usable fuel, while supporting more circular approaches to resource management.
The development of CBG infrastructure requires robust engineering, procurement and construction capabilities, along with effective project planning, equipment integration and execution. EPC contractors play an important role in translating project designs into facilities that can support the wider adoption of compressed biogas.
The award recognises the collective efforts of REnergy Dynamics’ teams and project partners in delivering CBG projects. It also highlights the importance of execution expertise and industry collaboration in strengthening India’s emerging bioenergy ecosystem.
REnergy Dynamics expressed its appreciation to IFGE and the India Green Energy Awards team for the recognition. The achievement marks an important milestone for the company as it continues to contribute to the development of India’s bioenergy sector.
