Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has been granted a letter of award by an undisclosed domestic entity to establish a 412 MWp (335 MW AC) solar power facility on a turnkey basis. The company’s scope of work under the project includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). The company will also be responsible for project’s operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of two years as well. The cumulative order amount is approximately Rs 5.54 billion, comprising Rs 5.47 billion for EPC work and Rs 67.98 million for O&M. The anticipated deadline for concluding the projects is December 31, 2024. With this addition, the company’s outstanding order book has expanded to 1,161 MW.
Recently, in December 2023, Waaree Energies Limited collaborated with IRCON Renewable Power Limited to supply more than 200 MW of solar PV modules in adherence to domestic content requirement. In November 2023, Waaree Energies Limited partnered with NTPC Limited to supply over 135 MW solar modules for a solar project located in Anta, Baran district of Rajasthan. In October 2023, Waaree Energies Limited secured a contract from ENGIE India for the supply of 200 MW of solar modules for a solar power project in Sayla village within the Surendra Nagar district of Gujarat.
