The University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) have entered into an MoU to support the transition towards clean and renewable energy. The MoU outlines key areas of cooperation, including facilitating bilateral exchange opportunities and establishing a renewable energy startup incubator in Karnataka.

Additionally, the collaboration will focus on structured capacity building initiatives for startups through UNSW Founders. It will also enable mutual access to markets, innovation ecosystems and research infrastructure in both Australia and India. Moreover, the partnership will encourage joint engagement among researchers, universities and industry stakeholders across the two countries.
