Swaraj Tractors, has partnered with Mahindra Susten, to develop a 26 MW solar project in Bathinda district. This initiative, reportedly Punjab’s largest solar group captive project, aims to increase Swaraj Tractors’ renewable energy share to up to 50 per cent.

It is expected to generate approximately 60 million kWh of renewable electricity annually, contributing to the reduction of around 54,600 tonnes of carbon emissions. Additionally, it marks Mahindra Susten’s entry into Punjab, further expanding its presence as a renewable independent power producer.
Swaraj Tractors, established in 1974 and based in Punjab, is the tractor manufacturer division of the Mahindra Group. The company manufactures a range of tractors from 11.2 kW to 49.2 kW, providing comprehensive farming solutions and pioneering horticulture mechanisation.
