Stargate Hydrogen has inaugurated its new factory, which is dedicated to the production of alkaline electrolysis stacks and systems in Estonia. In the first phase, the factory can deliver 140 MW of alkaline electrolysers annually. This can be increased to over 1 GW with the help of minor additional investments.

The project has been co-funded by the Republic of Estonia through the revenue from the emissions trading scheme. Furthermore, deliveries from the new factory have begun for the existing customers of Stargate Hydrogen in the European, Middle Eastern, Turkish, and Indian markets.
