Senvion India has bagged a conditional order from Continuum Green Energy to provide them with 50 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a total capacity of 210 MW. The deliveries will begin from April 2026. The project will be developed in either Karnataka or Gujarat.
Furthermore, the order can be increased up to 50 units in addition to the initial 50 WTGs. Installation of Senvion’s 4.2M160 turbines is also included in the project. These turbines have over 85 per cent localisation further extending the turbine’s life significantly and decreasing operational costs. These turbines also integrate cutting-edge technologies for accuracy in control and optimisation.
Recently, in August 2024, Senvion India received an order of 86.4 MW from Continuum Green Energy in Gujarat. This order includes a 20-year operations and maintenance contract for turbine performance and durability and the 2.7M130 platform to be installed at 140 meters.
