The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has joined forces with the Andhra Pradesh government for the development of renewable energy projects. These projects include a 1,200 MWh battery energy storage system at Nandyal and a 50 MW hybrid solar project. The projects will be developed under the capital-expenditure model. Furthermore, the SECI will oversee the financing and implementation of the project.

Earlier this month, the SECI and the National Highways Authority of India inked a MoU for the installation of solar plants along the elevated stretch of Package-1 (Delhi portion) of the Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun highway (NH-709B) under Phase-1.
