REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has handed over project specific special purpose vehicle of inter state transmission system project -Lakadia B Power Transmission Limited to Reliance Industries Limited.
Reliance Industries emerged as the transmission service provider through tariff-based competitive bidding process for development of the transmission project on build, own, operate and transfer basis. The scheme covers augmentation of transformation capacity at Lakadia Pooling Station in Gujarat State for evacuation of power from renewable energy power generators. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 5.13 billion.
