REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has issued a request for proposals to develop 200 MW ground-mounted solar power project at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes design, engineering, supplying, constructing, erecting, testing, and commissioning a 200 MW AC solar project. The work also encompasses comprehensive operations and maintenance for a period of five years. The bidders are required to furnish Rs 35 million as an earnest money deposit. The developers are required to submit performance security equalling 5 per cent of total contract value.
The solar projects will be implemented through a package that includes engineering, procurement, and construction, following a domestic competitive bidding process. The projects will utilise modules from the most recent Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
