PUB Announces Tender for Construction of Large-Scale Floating Solar Unit in Singapore

The Public Utilities Board (PUB) is inviting interested parties to participate in a tender exercise for the construction of a large-scale floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Pandan Reservoir in Singapore.

The selected contractor will handle the design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning (EPCC) of the Selco Solar PV Plant at Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant – Package L5. Eligible tenderers must be registered with the Building Construction Authority (BCA) in ME03 (Solar PV System Integration) or ME05 (Electrical Engineering) financial grade L6. Tenders must remain valid for 270 days from the closing date, during which no withdrawal is allowed. The last date for submitting bids is September 26, 2024. Works under the contract, valued at RM21 million, is set to begin in March 2025. Eligible tenderers must be registered with the Building Construction Authority (BCA) in ME03 (Solar PV System Integration) or ME05 (Electrical Engineering) financial grade L6. Tenders must remain valid for 270 days from the closing date, during which no withdrawal is allowed.
