Powerica Limited and Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, have separately received letters of award (LoAs) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for wind power projects.
Powerica has secured the LoA for the development of a 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat, with power to be supplied to SECI at a tariff of Rs 3.85 per kWh for a tenure of 25 years. The project is scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of execution of the power purchase agreement. Meanwhile, Purvah Green has secured the LoA for setting up a 175 MW inter-state transmission system-connected wind power project under SECI tranche-XX, also at a tariff of Rs 3.85 per kWh, with a power supply tenure of 25 years from the scheduled commencement date.
