The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has signed engineering procurement and construction contracts for lot 2 and lot 3 of the 500 kV East Ismailia to Zagazig overhead transmission line (OHTL) project with Power Construction Corporation of China Limited (PCCC). The project will commence in Qaryat al Jana’in within the Suez Governorate and terminate at the Zagazig 500 kV substation in Sharqia Governorate, covering approximately 130 km across desert and farmland regions.
