Onix Renewable Limited has revealed that its subsidiary, Onix Trans Stellar, has been awarded 187 MW of solar projects under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Uthan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM). The projects will be spread across 60 different locations in Gujarat.
The power purchase agreement has been signed with Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited. The company secured these projects by winning bid in auctions held by the Government of Gujarat. Within the PM KUSUM Scheme’s Component C, the projects were tendered for feeder-level solarisation and are anticipated to be operational by the end of December 2024.
