Okinawa Received IATF Certification

New Delhi- Okinawa Autotech has announced that it has received the prestigious IATF-16949 certification for adhering to the Global Quality Management System (QMS) Standards for Automotive Manufacturing Industry. Post a stringent evaluation process, IATF’s team of auditors chose to award the certificate to the company for its quality-centric efforts in EV design and manufacturing. This makes Okinawa the first EV manufacturer in the country to attain this feat.

IATF is thus yet another feather in the cap in Okinawa’s journey of attaining the firsts in the EV industry:

IATF emphasizes creating a quality-centric culture among people at all levels. Thus, Okinawa continues to impart necessary training through industry experts and has also developed its rule book in line with IATF standards and some of its past failures.

Speaking about the achievement, Jeetender Sharma, Founder, and Managing Director, Okinawa Autotech said, “Okinawa’s three core business values are Innovation, Quality, and Sustainability. Receiving the IATF-16949 certification is a testimony to our obsession with quality to produce the best in class products and reaffirms our belief in our core values. It also pushes us to compete against our own benchmarks and strive for continuous improvement and consumer satisfaction.” 

Mr. Sharma further added,” This is a stepping stone in our commitment to extend quality products for customers and to take mass adoption of electric two wheelers to the next level in India”
