NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has floated a tender for the development of a 540 MW wind energy project at inter-state transmission system connected (ISTS) sub-station, Anantapur-III in Andhra Pradesh (Tranche-II).
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, installation, and commissioning of the project. It also includes proving the guaranteed performance parameters for the complete wind farm, including land, the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (Wind), listed wind turbine generators (WTGs), along with the unit substation and 33 kV internal evacuation lines from the unit substation. Additionally, the work also encompasses proving performance parameters for the pooling substation, the central monitoring and control station, wind monitoring mast(s), and the external EHV transmission line up to the ISTS substation.
Furthermore, the successful bidder is required to provide 10 years of operations and maintenance services for the wind energy project, including WTG, unit substation, pooling substation, and internal and external transmission. The bid submission deadline is March 30, 2026.
