Inox Wind Limited has secured an order to supply 51 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3 MW, for a total of 153 MW in Tamil Nadu. The order has been placed by a global clean energy company for a renewable energy project under development in the state.
Additionally, Inox Wind will be responsible for limited engineering, procurement, and construction work and will provide multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services following the commissioning of the turbines. Specific financial details related to the order were not disclosed by the company.
In July 2024, Inox Wind secured a 200 MW contract from a renewable commercial and industrial power producer for its 3 MW wind turbine generators, to be implemented across Gujarat and Rajasthan, including turnkey execution and multi-year O&M services.
