Inox Wind Secures 200 MW Contract for 3 MW Wind Turbines


Inox Wind Limited has secured a 200 MW contract from a renewable commercial and industrial power producer. To be implemented across Gujarat and Rajasthan, the order includes the company’s latest 3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) and involves comprehensive turnkey execution. Furthermore, Inox Wind will deliver multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services following commissioning.

The company operates four advanced manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, producing blades, tubular towers, hubs, and nacelles. With its advanced 3 MW series WTGs, the company has an annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 2.5 GW. It provides comprehensive wind energy solutions, covering everything from concept and commissioning to O&M.

In April 2024, Inox Wind Limited secured an order for the supply of 210 MW of WTGs from Hero Future Energies.

In February 2024, the company revealed that its 3 MW wind turbine generator, equipped with a booster capacity of up to 3.3 MW, has been included in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, government of India’s Revised List of Models and Manufacturers.
