India–South Africa Tech Tie-Up: ProtaTECH and Pamodzi Partner to Drive AI and Innovation Across Global Markets

New Delhi: ProtaTECH India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and South Africa’s Pamodzi Tech (Pty) Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore strategic collaboration and expand AI and technology-driven business opportunities across global markets. The partnership also reflects a broader vision of strengthening technology and business cooperation among emerging economies, particularly within the BRICS framework.

The MoU was exchanged on Monday during a visit to India by a senior delegation from Pamodzi Group, comprising Mr Mothetjwa Sethunya, Group HR Manager; Ms Thando Ntsele, Head of Legal, Ms Ayanda, Finance Controller and Teboho Makatsi, Head of Information Technology. The delegation visited the ProtaTECH office in Gurugram to discuss potential areas of collaboration and future business initiatives.

On the occasion, Dr. Abraham Kumar, Founder and President of ProtaTECH India, said, “The partnership reflects the company’s commitment to expanding global technology collaboration while strengthening India’s engagement with emerging economies. He noted that ProtaTECH will contribute its expertise in software development, AI and technology solutions, and global product development, while Pamodzi Tech will bring industry knowledge and market access within South Africa across sectors including AI and IT solutions, precision engineering, aviation and defence, retail, and debt collection.”

Mothetjwa Sethunya, Group HR Manager, Pamodzi Group added, “India and South Africa share strong historical and economic ties. Through this collaboration, we hope to create opportunities for technology transfer, innovation, and business growth while contributing to deeper cooperation between both countries.”

The partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to support innovation, market expansion, and business development in areas such as software development, AI & IT solutions, precision engineering, and emerging technology sectors. Through the agreement, the two organisations will explore joint business partnerships, collaborative projects, and knowledge exchange initiatives to expand their presence in key markets including South Africa, India, Australia, and the United States.

ProtaTECH India Solutions is engaged in designing and developing advanced software solutions and has international presence through its sister concerns in the United States and Australia. Pamodzi Tech, based in Johannesburg, operates across sectors including IT solutions, aviation and defence, precision engineering, retail, and debt collection, with strong regional expertise in South Africa.
