Hygreen Energy has supplied a 25 MW electrolyser system to Huadian Weifang Power Generation Co., Ltd. The system is designed to produce 3.6 tonnes of hydrogen per day with 99.999 per cent purity. This shipment will support the adoption of electrolysers for large-scale hydrogen projects in the Shandong region.
Furthermore, the electrolyser incorporates integrated storage solutions and advanced distribution systems. The hydrogen production project, situated in Weifang, China, is integrated within Huadian Weifang’s existing power plant. Installation and commissioning of the project commenced in November 2024 and the project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2025.
