GK Energy Limited has entered into an agreement with a domestic manufacturer to procure 875 MW of solar photovoltaic cells compliant with the domestic content requirement (DCR) norms.
The procurement includes 450 MW of mono passivated emitter and rear cell crystalline and 425 MW of tunnel oxide passivated cells. The solar cells will be used for GK Energy’s ongoing and planned solar projects across multiple states. The deliveries are scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2027. The agreement also includes provisions related to delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and compliance with domestic sourcing standards.
