New Delhi : Exeliq Tech Solutions, one of India’s fastest-growing Grid Tied Inverter testing solution providers, has introduced GridX-120 -a 120 kW Grid-Tied Inverter (GTI) Test System, aimed at addressing the growing need for reliable, standards-compliant testing infrastructure for India’s expanding solar inverter market.

Exeliq’s GridX-120- GTI Test System is an automated test platform capable of validating solar inverters up to 120 kW, combining functional, safety, and ageing (burn-in) tests within a single setup. The system enables verification of key parameters such as MPPT performance, power quality, grid synchronization, insulation resistance, high-voltage safety, and ground continuity, along with long-duration reliability testing.

Features & specifications of GridX-120:

§  DC Source up to 1000 V & 300 A per string

§  Integrated HV, IR & Earth Bond safety tests

§  AC Grid Simulator up to 120 kVA with voltage & frequency variation

§  Regenerative AC/DC sources for low energy consumption

The GridX-120 system is among the few such high-capacity inverter testing platforms available in North India, strengthening regional access to advanced validation capabilities. Designed for inverter manufacturers, R&D centres, and certification laboratories, the test system features a regenerative AC grid simulator and load bank, allowing energy to be fed back to the grid during testing, reducing overall power consumption. Automated test sequencing, data logging, and report generation support consistency and traceability in line with IEC and Indian standards.

“As India scales up renewable capacity, grid-tied inverters are becoming core to stable solar integration. With higher capacities and stricter grid norms, manufacturers must validate performance, safety, and reliability at global benchmarks. Indigenously developed GridX-120- Make in India testing infrastructure plays a critical role in reducing import dependence and strengthening the domestic manufacturing ecosystem, enabling Indian manufacturers to scale with confidence and compete globally,” said Kumar Ashu- Co Founder, Exeliq Tech Solutions.

With inverter technologies evolving rapidly to support higher capacities, hybrid configurations, and grid-interactive features, indigenous testing infrastructure is essential to ensure product quality and grid stability at scale. Exeliq’s latest offering GridX-120 aligns with this requirement by enabling lab-grade validation under controlled yet realistic operating conditions.

The inverter tester system has been developed with a modular architecture, allowing customization for manufacturing QA, pre-compliance testing, and advanced R&D applications. This flexibility reflects the changing needs of India’s renewable energy and power electronics ecosystem, while reinforcing the broader Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.

Exeliq Tech Solutions is at the forefront of innovation, delivering high-quality testing solutions across industries. Leveraging National Instrument’s Testing-edge hardware and software platforms, Exeliq create advanced, scalable, and ergonomic testing systems tailored to meet the evolving needs of the clients. Exeliq’s commitment to integrating NI technologies, such as LabVIEW and advanced DAQ modules, enables them to deliver accurate and reliable results, enhancing efficiency and setting new benchmarks in industrial testing.
