EFFIE Awards X Collective Creative Labs

Mumbai – Collective Creative Labs (CCL) has secured two Silver Effies at the 25th Effie India Awards and ranked #15 in the Agency of the Year standings  marking a defining milestone for the independent agency.

For a relatively young company built without legacy backing, the recognition signals more than awards. It signals the validation of a different model.

The two winning campaigns were driven by a core belief that has defined CCL since inception: start with brand truth, stay disciplined about strategy, and build work that moves business metrics, not just feeds.

Three years ago, Collective Artists Network, known for operating at the intersection of culture and talent, identified a structural gap. While Collective had deep access to creators, entertainment, and cultural moments, brands increasingly needed strategic integration not fragmented execution across multiple agencies.

Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO, Collective Artists Network, commented, “We were already sitting at a rare intersection of culture, creators, entertainment and influence. But brands don’t need access alone; they need alignment. CCL was built to bring strategic rigour into that ecosystem. To ensure that culture is not just borrowed, but meaningfully integrated into brand growth.”

CCL was formed to bridge that gap, combining cultural capital with disciplined brand strategy, allowing brands to move beyond siloed agency structures and toward cohesive, outcome-driven solutions.

Over the years, CCL has delivered campaigns that have organically travelled far beyond paid media including work for Zebronics, Rakesh Masala, and Liberty not because virality was the brief, but because clarity was.

At CCL, virality is not the starting point. It is the by-product of sharp insight. Production value is not the strategy. It is the baseline.

Big names are not the hook. They are amplifiers when the thinking is strong enough.

Commenting on the achievement, Sanjana Jain, Partner at Collective Artists Network and  CEO at Collective Creative Labs, said “We believe great work begins with clarity, clarity about what the brand stands for, clarity about the consumer’s lived reality, and clarity about the business objective. In an environment that often prioritises spectacle, we stay anchored to outcomes. When the insight is strong, the work travels. When the strategy is disciplined, the business moves. These awards validate that approach.”

Both recognised campaigns were built on immersive consumer understanding and strategic rigour, reinforcing CCL’s positioning as a performance-driven creative partner.

Operating at the intersection of brands, culture, entertainment, and emerging media under Collective Artists Network, CCL represents an evolved agency model, one that integrates talent, content, influence, and brand strategy under a unified framework rather than a fragmented structure.

The dual Silver wins and Agency of the Year ranking are not an end point but a marker of momentum.
