Equinix has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with CleanMax to develop a 33 MW captive power plant in Maharashtra.
The project will include 26.4 MWp of solar power and 6.6 MW of wind power, and it is expected to become operational in phases throughout 2025. Once fully operational, this project will provide renewable energy coverage for Equinix’s International Business ExchangeTM (IBX®) data centers in Mumbai.
