Envision Energy India has signed an agreement with Juniper Green Energy to supply 200 EN182 5 MW wind turbines and a 320 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for deployment across various projects. The wind turbines, with a 182-metre rotor diameter and a hub height of 140 metres, will be utilised for projects secured by Juniper Green Energy in state and central auctions.

The BESS package will support Juniper’s Firm Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The EN182 wind turbine platform provides a 40 per cent increase in annual energy output compared to the 3.3 MW platform, requiring fewer land parcels and mitigating land acquisition challenges. Envision Energy’s storage system comprises a 5 MWh containerised unit powered by lithium-ion cells, integrated with an AIoT-based Energy Management System and a 3.45 MW power conversion system unit.
