With the festive season approaching, eBikeGo expects about 50,000 more bookings worth Rs. 500 crores in the coming months. eBikeGo is releasing Rugged in four new hues for Diwali: Red, Blue, Black, and Rugged Special Edition. eBikeGo has a number of new states in mind for the ‘Rugged’ franchise, with ten more states in the works, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi. For Rugged reservations, eBikeGo is also establishing a referral program in which both the referrer and the referee would receive Rs. 1000 discount for each reference. Anyone can make an unlimited number of referrals under this scheme. If they recommend 100 or more individuals, consumers can get Rugged for free.

Consumers can own Rugged for free if they refer 100 or more people. Every 100th customer who books Rugged gets its FREE and the delivery is based on a first come, first come serve basis.

Rugged is completely compatible with the Make in India initiative because it is developed and built entirely in India. The bike has been created with extreme accuracy and durability, as well as in-house design and production. The RUGGED is powered by a 3kW motor that can achieve speeds of up to 70 km/h. It comes with a 2 x 2 kWh battery that may be replaced. The batteries offer a range of 160 kilometres and charge in 3.5 hours. It has a 30 litre storage capacity. The electric moto scooter’s body is made out of a steel frame and a cradle chassis. It has 12 smart sensors integrated in.

“Within two months of its introduction, we at eBikeGo had an amazing reaction to our most anticipated bike, the RUGGED, and closed 1 lakh+ bookings with 22 dealerships throughout the nation. This is a significant figure for any electric two wheeler company, especially in a developing country like India. It is India’s most environmentally friendly, intelligent, and durable electric moto-scooter, which will change the direction of e-mobility in the country and push the frontiers of innovation in the electric bike category. We’re also grateful to have had such a positive response from the investment community. We’re also in advanced talks with a number of foreign private equity funds. In the next months, we estimate about 50,000 additional bookings of ‘Rugged’ worth Rs. 500 crores” said Irfan Khan, Founder & CEO of eBikeGo.
