New Delhi: Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 01st April 2024. With an illustrious career spanning over 22 years, including more than 12 years of experience in independent leadership roles, Dr. Yadav brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to steer AMHSSC into a new phase of growth and development. Prior to joining AMHSSC, Dr. Yadav held executive positions at leading organizations within the textile sector, showcasing exceptional skills in industrial research, skill ecosystem planning, and policy formulation.

Dr. Yadav holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Textile Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, along with a Master of Technology and Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering from the same institution. His academic achievements include the completion of significant research projects, resulting in multiple Indian patents and publications in esteemed journals and conferences. His expertise in textile manufacturing, product innovation, and quality control, combined with proficiency in computer-aided design and statistical analysis, positions him as a driving force for innovation within AMHSSC.
