JSW Energy Board Approves Rs 50 Billion QIPs Raise

JSW Energy Limited’s board has approved the raising of Rs 50 billion through the issuance of equity on a qualified institutional placement (QIP) basis.

The Finance Committee has been authorised to make all necessary decisions in this regard. The decision comes following the board’s approval for a QIP of equity shares worth Rs 10 each to eligible investors, with the aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 50 billion in one or more tranches, pending regulatory/statutory approvals
