Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), the nodal agency for the project, has launched the distributed renewable energy project monitoring tool (DRE-PMT) to strengthen technology-driven monitoring of renewable energy projects across the state. The platform provides centralised dashboards and data analytics to support the monitoring of the renewable energy ecosystem.
The DRE-PMT platform integrates renewable energy project monitoring, real-time generation monitoring, subsidy and direct benefit transfer workflow monitoring, and tracking of projects under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan and Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana schemes. Additionally, it includes rooftop solar project monitoring, discom-level project and generation tracking, vendor management and empanelment.
In May 2026, RRECL, Government of Rajasthan, and The Energy and Resources Institute signed an MoU to collaborate on advancing renewable energy deployment, energy transition strategies and sustainable development initiatives. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in areas including renewable energy, agri-photovoltaic, energy storage, grid integration, electric mobility, emerging technologies and capacity building.
