Eurowind Energy Romania has commenced construction of three wind power projects, following the receipt of setting-up authorisations from the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE). Together, the projects will add 138 MW of renewable energy capacity to the grid. The projects will use 23 Vestas V162-6.2 MW turbines. The projects will also benefit from a 20-year long-term service and maintenance agreement with Vestas.

The projects include the Frumușița, Vector, and Pecineaga Nord-Est wind farms and will have installed capacities of 66 MW equipped with 11 turbines, 24 MW equipped with 4 turbines, and 48 MW equipped with 8 turbines, respectively. Turbine deliveries for the projects are scheduled for the second half of 2026, while commercial commissioning is expected in 2027.
