GK Energy Limited has received a letter of empanelment (LoE) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for 10,000 off-grid direct current (DC) solar photovoltaic (PV) water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana. The order is valued at Rs 2.35 billion and covers delivery of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP solar pumps.
According to the order, the scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of the off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems. The contract is scheduled to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.
Earlier this month, GK Energy Limited received an allotment of 10 MW of rooftop solar projects comprising installations at 1,150 locations. The order is valued at Rs 0.48 billion.
