VSL Renewable Services has secured Lot-2 (810 MWp) of the 1,864 MWp solar operations and maintenance (O&M) tender floated by NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL). The tender was issued in two lots, Lot-1 and Lot-2, with capacities of 1,054 MWp and 810 MWp, respectively. The company was the lowest bidder for both lots and was awarded Lot-2 as per NTPC’s tender conditions. The projects awarded are located across the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work includes real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, generation-linked performance guarantees, and compliance with NTPC’s safety norms. It also covers aspects such as providing technical expertise across DC, AC, HT, and inverter systems, along with tailored O&M strategies for different geographical locations.
Earlier in March 2025, VSL Renewable Services was awarded a three-year O&M contract for Andhra Pradesh Generation Company Limited’s 527 MWp solar power plant in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh.
