Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort has commissioned a 368 KWp solar power project. Situated in the Aravali Hills, the resort is now generating over 1,272 kWh of solar energy daily.
The project aims to reduce dependence on conventional power sources by using renewable energy for key operational areas including air conditioning, lighting, kitchen functions, and water heating. Reportedly, further initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, waste segregation, water conservation, and the local sourcing of produce are also being pursued.
The solar panels have been strategically integrated into the resort’s architecture to ensure maximum solar yield while preserving the surrounding landscape. Moreover, the project is expected to result in considerable annual greenhouse gas reductions.
