AMPIN Energy Transition has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Poly Medicure Limited to supply 9.9 MWp of solar power from its 75 MWp solar park in Kurungawali, Sirsa, Haryana. Under the agreement, AMPIN Energy Transition will supply renewable energy to support Poly Medicure’s operations, reinforcing the company’s efforts toward environmentally responsible manufacturing.
Moreover, the agreement marks Poly Medicure’s first off-site solar PPA and will replace approximately 35 per cent of the conventional power consumption across its five manufacturing plants in Faridabad. The transition to solar energy is expected to lower electricity costs, as the solar power rate is projected to be around 30 per cent lower than the existing discom supply. Additionally, this shift is aimed at reducing scope-2 emissions, aligning with Poly Medicure’s sustainability initiatives.
Poly Medicure Limited, established in 1995, is a medical device manufacturer. The company operates 12 manufacturing facilities across four countries and produces more than 1.5 billion medical devices annually.
