EverEnviro Resource Management has achieved a major milestone as its Indore clean energy project has attained full operational capacity. Established through a public-private partnership with the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC), the plant serves as a cornerstone in the city’s environmental agenda, substantially curbing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. Additionally, it furnishes a renewable energy option, presenting a cleaner fuel alternative for both residential and commercial sectors in Indore.

The facility has recently maintained a steady production rate of nearly 15 tonnes per day (TPD) of CBG, achieving a notable milestone with its highest single-day CBG production of 18 tonnes in March 2024. Previously burdened with 200,000 metric tonnes (MT) of waste, the site has undergone a transformation and now effectively handles 550 MT of organic waste daily. This systematic treatment of segregated organic materials has led to a notable decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating up to 70,000 MT of carbon emissions equivalent, consequently improving the environmental conditions for the 4.3 million residents in the region. The facility can produce 17 tonnes of biofuel and 40 MT of organic fertiliser per day.

Over the next twenty years, it is projected to avert the accumulation of over 4 million tonnes of waste. The incorporation of CBG into Avantika Gas Limited’s network in Indore has enabled around 15,000 households to adopt eco-friendly fuel. Additionally, EverEnviro’s CBG output now fuels the city buses managed by the IMC, showcasing a notable advancement in greener public transportation alternatives and reaffirming its dedication to sustainable urban mobility.
